2014. Tasks and Directions. Grain carriers

Currently, one of the priorities of Maxima Logistics LLC for the development and expansion of its own fleet of wagons is the acquisition of specialized rolling stock - hopper wagons for grain transportation.

The fleet of grain carriers is represented by the model 19-9858, produced at JSC "Plant of Metal Structures" (Engels, Saratov region). In accordance with the Specifications, the grain wagon model 19-9858 is designed to transport grain, other food cargo (malt, bran, pulp, meal, husk, etc.), as well as seeds of oilseeds and industrial crops (sunflower, flax, rapeseed, soy, etc.).

The cars leave the factory with network numbers, have running  across the entire network of railways with a gauge of 1520 mm: Russian Railways, CIS countries, Georgia, the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Estonia, as well as countries near and far abroad.

By the end of 2013, the fleet of grain wagons will be 100 units. The planned development of the fleet of grain wagons for 2014 is up to 1000 units. Currently, the fleet of grain wagons is involved in the transportation of grain cargoes from Kazakhstan to the stations of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, small ports of the Azov-Black Sea basin.

In the near future, it is planned to expand the geography of transportation from Western Siberia, the Central Region to the Baltic ports, Russian ports of the Baltic and Caspian Seas, Azerbaijan, as well as in domestic and international export-import and transit traffic through land border crossings.

The main clients of the grain cargo transportation company are: - Technotrans LLC; - LLC "Baltservice"; - LLC "Bi-Ai-Granum"; - Kazexprortastyk Holding JSC; - Nord TEK LLP.

In the future, it is planned to further develop cooperation and conclude contracts with elevators, traders, manufacturers and processors of grain and grain products. The volume of transportation in grain wagons is projected in December 2013 at the level of 5 thousand tons. By the end of 2014, this indicator should be at least 40 thousand tons per month.
